I searched around a bit but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like it’s available for the Storm 2. Maybe someday it will be. Because the Popup Keys was a feature on the radio file on the Storm 1, it would be impossible to just take it out and put it into a Storm 2.

Truth be told though, the version on the Storm 1 wasn’t that useful for me because the popup keys came up only a little bit above the letter and not in the middle of the screen like it does for the iphone. So it was harder to see.

It’s true. There was a flier that went out to a select group? Anyway, to me it looked like an announcement for the new Droid and the Storm 2. I’d actually thrown mine away.

Then someone told me that the flier actually said I was being granted a early upgrade. $279 – $100 MIR to come to the $179. Mine should be here tomorrow according to the Fedex website.

About me, I’ve had my Storm 1 since May 2009. Someone had mentioned that you have to have had it for a year, but I suppose I prove that wrong. Although, my plan is > $59.99 per month, by quite a bit.

nice, verizon is a very good company the best out there in my opinion, i had sprint be4 and every month they charged me extra for something that wasent true. I have a storm too and i love it, i have a Warranty on mine i pay $5 a month extra so no matter what happens to it i get a new one.

yah, there’s must to be some easy way to put the phone into vibrate that I’m missing. It’s a key feature that even the simplest of phones have.

I just had to reinstall FaceBook. Even though it was already on my phone. The icon didn’t show up. I think it has to do with having 1.5 and while installing the new OS, Desktop Manager deleted FaceBook 1.3

you need to download the file onto your pc and install it on there. You may have to install Desktop Manager prior to this. The program should have came with your phone on a cd.

Sorry that you're having a hard time with it. The learning curve is ridiculously bad on the phone. I have to admit, ever since I've updated the OS I've been loving it.

If you're planning to return the phone though, I don't recommend you install an update.

So how do you do this?? I am trying but when I get to the “premium” vs. regular I cannot click to the link on my Storm. Very frustrating. I am returning my Storm as everything associated with it sucks. This shouldn’t be so hard.

hi! I just tried to install the program and it works for me, so I can't duplicate your program.

What you can try is go to Options > Advanced Options > TCP/IP and make sure APN Settings Enabled is clicked.

If that doesn't work, try a battery pull.

The random reboots stopped for the first few days of the update, but started happening again. We still haven’t figured out why these reboots are happening but when we do, we’ll let you know! (I’m hoping that the QuickPull application will help)
