A few days, ago, I was sitting at a table eating at church. Like it usually is, to the left of my plate was my BlackBerry Storm. As it quite often does, my BlackBerry became the topic of discussion. A man at a different table looked at my phone and began his gripe about his Storm.

This is something that’s happened a number of times. People get out of their way to tell me they have a sibling or friend or parent or they themselves have a BlackBerry Storm and how it’s the worst phone.

I’ve heard it so many times. Though, rarely, I tell them I’m so obsessed with the phone, I have a blog dedicated to it.

I listened to this man, who apparently is quite the intelligent one (he just returned from Afghanistan on a contract he’s not allowed to talk about), complain about the lack of popup keys (maybe he should try out OS .230) and how it’s hard to get the screen to click on the corners (paper trick). He was befuddled that there was no themes for the BlackBerry, even after I showed him that my Storm was running a theme.

He went on to complain a bit more about the phone (mostly about the price), but me, I, as usual, didn’t really say much to argue for the phone. In my mind, I was thinking about this site, instead. I realized I wasn’t going in the direction I originally planned for this site. I got too caught up writing about any news about the phone and forgot I started wanting to write about how to make the BlackBerry easier for people to love.

So, this is going to be the focus of the website.

  1. Information on how to do things for the phone
  2. Where to find things like apps/themes
  3. Certain tricks and tips
  4. possibly some important news about it
  5. Once a week, I’ll have a post about important news about BlackBerry.

Hopefully, this site will become more of a reference for others. Although, my focus will be on the BlackBerry Storm, I’m sure most of the information should apply to other BlackBerry’s.

My hope is that you’ll enjoy this site and that it’s informative and interesting to read.
